Affirmative Action Planning

N. Darlene Walker & Associates specializes in the design and preparation of Affirmative Action Plans for U.S. government contractors to meet current OFCCP requirements. This involves analysis of the company's personnel data and evaluation of compliance status vis-á-vis applicable female and minority availabilities, as well as formulation of recommendations to the company of actions to be taken to achieve compliance. We design custom AAPs to reflect our client's business practices. Our AAPs have been audited and found compliant in every region of the U.S.


OFCCP Audit Management

We manage full compliance reviews conducted by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) including analysis of company data, preparation and presentation of the company's position to federal compliance officers and participation in internal decision-making related to the review. Audit preparation includes analyzing problem areas identified in the adverse impact analysis of applicants/hires, promotions and terminations. Our clients have had highly successful audit outcomes in all regions of the country for almost three decades.

Data Analysis

Our services include salary equity analysis utilizing average and mean analysis, multiple regression analysis and cohort analysis, adverse impact analysis of personnel transactions including reductions-in-force and other customized data reports and analysis.

Analysis of Policies and Procedures

Development and/or review of Human Resource policies and procedures for companies in the areas of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) compliance, workplace harassment and in other human resources areas. Review and analysis of basic personnel documents and records such as applications for employment, performance appraisals and EEO/AA considerations in the development of HRIS systems.

Training Programs

Development and presentation of training programs on such subjects as harassment-free workplace, EEO for managers and supervisors, interviewing and selection, progressive discipline, and performance management and appraisals.

Human Resource Consulting

Provision of general assistance in human resources planning and management.


Required Reporting

We prepare annual EEO-1 reports, VETS 4212 reports, and California Pay Data Reports.
